Oven light not working on some settings

Issue

  • The oven light does not turn on when using certain cooking functions or programmes

Applies to:

  • Single
  • Double Ovens
  • Freestanding Cookers

Resolution

Programmes such as : Moist fan baking, Humid Hot Air, EcoSteam, Dough Proving and other Eco settings

Are low energy programmes therefore do not use the oven light, this is to save energy and ensure low temperatures when proving.

There is not a fault with your appliance.
