  • The hob is not responding to ON/OFF button

Resolution

If the hob does not work/does not display any symbols right after being connected, this indicates possible incorrect installation.

Contact the installer to check if the hob is correctly connected to the power supply, according to the installation instructions.

Since electrical connections can be hazardous, it's strongly recommended to contact a certified installer or electrician to inspect and verify the setup. This ensures safety and compliance with local regulations.

If the hob stopped working after some time after installation, please check the causes below to rectify the problem:

1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply for at least 30 seconds.

Note: To reset the appliance, unplug it and wait 30 seconds before plugging it in again. In the case of built-in appliances, where it is not possible to disconnect the appliance from the socket, you need to disconnect it from the mains via the main switchboard (RCD switch).

2. Make sure that no more than 10 seconds passed since you activated the hob.

Turn on the appliance again and select heat setting.

Automatic Switch Off - The function deactivates the hob automatically if you do not set the heat setting after you activate the hob.

3. Make sure that several symbols were not touched at the same time.

Touch only one sensor field.

4. Clean the control panel of water and fat stains.

Make sure the control panel is clean and dry.

Avoid using wet fingers or gloves when pressing the touch controls.

Try pressing the button firmly and hold for 1–2 seconds.

5. Deactivate the Child Safety Lock ("L" or padlock symbol is displayed when the lock is active).

Refer to the full description in the user manual, as the procedure depends on the model of the appliance. Download the user manual.

5. Deactivate the STOP+GO function.

Refer to the full description in the user manual, as the procedure depends on the model of the appliance.

6. Deactivate the Demo Mode.

7. Contact an Authorized Service Centre.

If the above advice does not resolve the problem, we recommend requesting a visit by a service engineer.
