Can I connect my washing machine to a hot water line?
Resolution
Question
- Can I connect my washing machine to a hot water line?
Applies to
- front loader washing machine (integrated and freestanding)
- top loader washing machine
Resolution
1. We do not recommend connecting washing machines to a hot water line.
Our front and top loader units have been specially designed for installation using a cold water line.
Technically, the inlet valves of our machines are designed for water up to 65°C, but the washing programs do not always use hot water, and the water used for washing can not be cooled down again.
Note: Continuous hot water can lead to unsatisfactory washing results.
