Dishwasher – How to replace the inlet hose

Always take care when moving appliances. For heavy appliances, it’s safest for two people to move them. Always wear safety gloves and safety footwear. Wear safety gloves at all times to protect against cuts from sharp edges.

Before carrying out any repair or maintenance, turn off the water supply to the appliance.

Make sure to use the product only for its intended purpose and check that it’s a compatible part for the product you’re using.

Do not use or install the product if it is damaged.

Please note that repairing it yourself or getting it repaired by someone who isn’t a professional can have safety consequences if it’s not done properly, and it might void the warranty. It’s essential that you have the proper know-how.

HOW TO REPLACE INLET HOSE, AQUA HOSE

1. Remove the filter and its housing, then use a small syringe and some old towels to drain the water from the sump.

2. Unscrew the four PH2 screws securing the bottom cover of the dishwasher, then pull the cover towards you to remove it.

3. Unscrew the two PH2 screws on the top of the left-hand side panel.

4. To release the side panel, push the three clips in on the back of the panel, then pull to the left and forward to release.

5. Use pliers to loosen the jubilee clips on the internal inlet hose and remove the inlet hose from the container cup. Note: This hose may contain some leftover water.

6. Release the hose’s electrical connections from the retaining clip on the dishwasher base.

7. Carefully disconnect the wiring connectors from the inlet hose spade. (Note: Take a photo of where the wiring is positioned before disconnecting it.) Take care not to damage the connector.

8. Push the two retaining clips in for the inlet hose, then slide the inlet hose out of the dishwasher.

9. When reassembling, repeat the steps in reverse order. Note: When refitting the inlet hose, make sure the two lugs on the inlet hose line up with the holes in the base of the dishwasher.
